Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a committed and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a local primary school in Banbury. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a child within the Early Years Foundation Stage, as well as offering general classroom support to the class teacher.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about early years education and can contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Details:

  • Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
  • Salary: £88.92 – £105.89 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Contract Type: Full-time or part-time (flexible based on your availability)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child in the EYFS setting
  • Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Support children’s learning and development through structured play and educational tasks
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an EYFS or primary school setting
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications or training in childcare or education (desirable but not essential)
