Monarch Education is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Weston-super-Mare. The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children within the Early Years classroom and outdoor learning environment.
- Help deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work closely with the class teacher to create a stimulating learning environment.
- Encourage independence, communication, and confidence in young learners.
- Assist with observations and assessment activities where required.
- Support children with varying needs and abilities.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Be flexible and provide support across different areas of the EYFS setting when needed.
What We’re Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who:
- Have experience working with young children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting.
- Have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Are nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic.
- Can build positive relationships with children and staff.
- Are flexible and happy to support where needed across the setting.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
