School First Aider – Full Time

Location: Filton, Bristol

Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School First Aider to join our secondary school team in Filton. This is a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidents and treatments.
  • Monitor and manage students with ongoing medical needs.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and healthcare professionals as required.
  • Ensure compliance with school health and safety policies and statutory requirements.
  • Support the wider pastoral team in promoting student wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Recognised First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
  • Experience in a similar role within an educational or healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
