Monarch Education are working in partnership with a secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a full-time, temporary position to cover maternity leave, starting September 2026.
The Role:
- Position: Food Technology Teacher KS3-4
- Start Date: September 2026
- Contract: Temporary, Maternity Cover
- Working Pattern: 5 days per week
- Daily rate: £165-£162 per day (Dependent on experience)
- Location: North Birmingham
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to join a welcoming and supportive department, delivering engaging and practical lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Food Technology/Design Technology at secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for practical learning
- A commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
