We are working with a highly caring and supportive SEND school in South Bristol that is seeking full-time staff who are looking to secure a permanent role within a rewarding and nurturing environment.
This specialist school provides high-quality education, care, and life experiences for pupils aged 3-19 years with a range of complex needs, including:
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
- PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
- ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
- Sensory impairments and complex learning needs
The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and strong pastoral approach, ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential in a safe, structured, and compassionate setting.
The Role:
- Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Assisting with learning, emotional regulation, and daily routines
- Encouraging independence and positive engagement
- Working closely with teaching staff and therapists
The Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about working in SEND
- Patient, resilient, and empathetic
- Interested in developing a long-term career within education
- Experience is beneficial but not essential – the right attitude is key
