Full time SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Central Northampton
Pay: £84 – £104 p/day
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: 8:30am – 4pm Monday – Friday
A Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Primary school are looking for a specialist TA to work with SEMH and SEND students aged 3-11.
Students have ASD, MLD, PMLD and SEMH needs, so you must be able to support these students and be able to manage challenging behaviours at times.
This role will be term time only and candidates must have relevant experience, for example working in SEND or SEMH schools/with SEND students.
Candidates must be ready to start work ASAP and be able to work 8:30am – 4pm. You must be willing to accept the role as a temporary to permanent role. You will be returning to the role in September 2024 too.
Experience in an alternative provision, SEMH school or residential setting where challenging behaviours have been dealt with, is the type of professional working background the school are looking for.
