Functional Skills Teacher

Monarch Education are honoured to work alongside a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities setting in the Worcester area. We have an amazing opportunity to work in this well-established school as an English and maths Teacher, teaching functional skills to small groups. This role will be full time (Monday – Friday) from 8:30am – 4:30pm, term time only.

The role:

You will be required to teach small groups of students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, ranging from ages 11-16. All of the students you will be teaching will have a range of SEMH needs, including anxiety and low self-esteem. The ideal SEMH Teacher for this role will need to have relevant teaching experience and has previously worked in a similar setting.

  • QTS required or unqualified with relevant teaching experience
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needs.
