Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
  • Create engaging, innovative, and differentiated lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing regular feedback to support their development
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching strategies within the Geography department
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Geography
  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
