We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled Geography Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Oxford.

An Good OFSTED graded secondary school in Oxford are looking for a full time Geography teacher to join their school in January 2026. This is a long term placement and as a newly appointed teacher you will be fully supported by the department head and a number of key staff; As part of this role you will teach up to GCSE level and be responsible for participating in team planning.

Daily rate of pay will start at £145 and can increase to £232.57 , for more experienced teachers with UK recognised Qualified Teaching Status.

UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role.

Job responsibilities:

• Planning/Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
• Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
• Full time availability
• Specialism or experience teaching Geography in UK based schools
