Geography Teacher – Solihull (B92) – Start After February Half Term

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the B92 area of Solihull. This is a long‑term, full‑time position, starting immediately after February half term, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving and well‑established Humanities department.

• Start Date: After February half term
• Contract Type: Long‑term
• Working Hours: Full‑time, Monday to Friday

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography
• Effective classroom management and behaviour strategies
• A commitment to inclusive practice and driving student progress
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned Geography lessons
• Teach topics across physical and human geography, fostering curiosity and critical thinking
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering intervention and support where required
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can succeed
• Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and wider school initiatives
• Support pupils with varied needs, including those with SEN or EAL
