Geography Teacher (QTS) – Full-Time Temporary Role

Location: North Birmingham

Monarch Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Geography Teacher (QTS) to join a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham. This is a full-time, temporary position commencing in September 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and dynamic environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of global issues, physical and human geography, and environmental awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental activities

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Specialism or strong experience teaching Geography
  • A passion for education and the ability to inspire learners
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
