Are you an experienced German Teacher seeking a part-time role that offers a great work-life balance? A well-established secondary school in the Middleton area is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join their Modern Languages department, working three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging German lessons to students across KS3, promoting a love for languages.
  • Use innovative teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and supporting their language development.
  • Work closely with colleagues to contribute to the wider languages department and curriculum development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in German or Modern Languages.
  • Previous experience teaching German in a secondary school setting.
  • A passion for languages and the ability to inspire students to succeed.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality language education while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
