Monarch Education are working in partnership with a number of schools in Tameside, who need a number of Cover Supervisors to work in their schools ASAP on an ongoing basis.
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
monitoring and supervising classes across all subjects.
during the short-term absence of teachers
ensuring that pupils continue to learn and are kept on task.

Supervising classes in the short term absence of the class teacher
Ensuring pupils are on task and continue to learn by keeping them on task with work that has been pre-planned for you
Managing the pupils behaviour in the classroom, in accordance with the school behaviour policy
Maintaining a positive learning environment, dealing with low level disruption, utilising TAs in class
The ideal candidates will have:
Experience in some capacity of working with children or young people – this can be voluntary of paid and doesn’t need to be school based.
A degree in any subject is ideal but other qualifications can be considered – ideal for candidates who are hoping to embark on their PGCE
A strong commitment to supporting pupil development and progress in school.
A passion for wanting to be part of a wider school team.
These are full time positions, Mon to Friday during term time 08.20 to 3.30; these are ongoing long-term roles with potential for being offered a contract with a school following a successful placement. Pay is reflective of the hard work you put in and ranges from £100-£120 a day.
