Graduate Teaching Assistant, Tameside Primary School (OL6)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team and support the growth and development of primary school students in the Tameside community.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teachers and contributing to the overall educational experience of primary school students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to students who require additional help with their studies.
• Helping to create engaging and interactive learning materials.
• Promoting positive behaviour and implementing the school’s behaviour management policies.
• Participating in extracurricular activities and school events.

To be considered for this position, you must be a recent graduate with a degree relevant to education or in a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for working with children and a commitment to their academic and personal development. The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
