Graduate Teaching Assistant

Salary: Outstanding pay rates between £450.00-£670.00, per week.

– Supporting children with Special Educational Needs

Bristol SEND Schools– including Alveston, Bedminster, Bishopsworth, Easton, Hartcliffe, Henbury, Fishponds, Knowle West, Shirehampton, Thornbury and Yate

Hours can Vary Between: 8:00am-16:45 (school dependant), with a 30/40 minute break during lunch time. These are full-time opportunities, with the view to going permanent at the right school. All opportunities are immediate starts!

About the Roles:

You will be required to work in one of our client special schools across Bristol, on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils, across the ages of 3-19, with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The in these opportunities you will support pupils with varying diagnosis, including: ADHD, Autism, Global Delay and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties and Social Emotional Mental Health, amongst other SEND needs. You will work in collaboration with the schools SLT, under the guidance of the class teacher and alongside parents, to superceed the targets of your pupils Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). Each school provides a places emphasis on team cohesive and thus providing a rewarding environment to work in.

Training within SEN is preferred, but not essential as we can provide these for you, through online courses and in training opporunities such as Team Teach. The opportunities are long-term, with the potential to becoming a permanent member of staff at the school. All opportunities are to start immediately or for ASAP/April 2026.

*Graduate in the following topic/s- Acting, Music, Performing Arts, Psychology
*Excellent behaviour management skills.
*Punctual and reliable.
*Calm and resilient approach.
*3-6 months of experience having worked with children
*A passion for helping young people progress and develop.
