Health and Social Care Teacher

Monarch Education is seeking a qualified Health & Social Care Teacher to join a secondary school in North Birmingham. This role is to start immediately and will be on a full-time temporary basis. The successful candidate will deliver lessons in Health & Social Care, Sociology and Citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Health & Social Care across KS4-5
• Deliver lessons in Sociology and Citizenship as required
• Plan, prepare and assess high quality lessons
• Support student progress and attainment
• Maintain a positive and well managed classroom environment

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Health & Social Care
• Experience teaching Sociology and/or Citizenship is advantageous
• Ability to start immediately and commit to a full time position
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
