Health & Social Care Lecturer – Longbridge – Immediate Start

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and knowledgeable Health & Social Care Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching at a respected vocational training centre in Longbridge, Birmingham. This is a part-time role, working 16.5 hours per week, with an immediate start available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator with a background in health and social care to support learners at Level 1 and Level 2, helping them build the skills and confidence needed for progression into further study or employment in the care sector.

Key Details:

  • Location: Longbridge, Birmingham
  • Hours: 16.5 hours per week
  • Days: Flexible across the week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Courses: BTEC Health & Social Care Level 1 and Level 2

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 3 or above qualification in Health & Social Care
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience delivering vocational health and social care courses
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A learner-focused approach and commitment to inclusive education
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Health & Social Care
  • Supporting learners with coursework, assessments, and progression
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Ensuring course delivery meets awarding body standards
  • Collaborating with colleagues to support learner success
