Monarch Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Stonehouse area. This exciting opportunity involves providing PPA cover across the primary age range, working three days per week within a well-established and collaborative school environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced HLTA who is confident leading whole-class lessons, supporting pupil progress, and maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups during teachers’ PPA time.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies.
  • Support pupils’ learning and development, ensuring engagement and progress.
  • Work closely with teachers and school staff to provide a consistent learning experience.
  • Adapt to different classes and year groups as required.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working within a UK primary school setting.
  • Confidence in leading whole-class teaching and learning activities.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning.
