History Teacher

Monarch Education are working in partnership with an Outstanding Secondary Academy in Oldham who are looking for a History Teacher to work with them from after Easter until the end of the academic year.

The School has been graded as Outstanding by OFSTED and is located near the Chadderton area of Oldham. It is part of a local academy Trust and is an inspirational and forward thinking school.

The role would be to teach History across all KS3 years with a handful of Year 10 lessons a week. This is to start from 15 April after the Easter break and is a full time role, Mon-Friday, to run right until the end of the academic year.

The role will pay to scale from day one (up to MPS6) to ensure you are paid appropriately for the role you would be undertaking. This is a wonderful school to join, behaviour is excellent and staff and pupils both truly enjoy being there. You will be well supported by the History team and wider Humanities faculty.

To be considered for this role you MUST have QTS / QTLS and be either a History specialist or have experience of teaching History KS3 long term.
