Contract: Full-time, Temporary (2 Terms)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role
You’ll be joining a committed team of educators who are passionate about helping students explore the past to better understand the present. The department encourages creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity, with a curriculum that spans a wide range of historical periods and themes.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
• Encourage analytical thinking and historical enquiry
• Support students in developing strong written and verbal communication skills
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic progress

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in History
• Experience teaching up to GCSE level
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for history and student development
• A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
