Are you a passionate, knowledgeable Humanities specialist looking to join a well‑led and supportive secondary school after Easter? We are working with an established Nottingham school seeking a committed Humanities Teacher (History/ Geography) who can bring energy, expertise, and high‑quality teaching to their department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident educator who thrives in the classroom and enjoys inspiring students across KS3 and KS4. While your primary focus will be Humanities, the timetable will include a small number of English lessons each week. There is no planning required for this role, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and providing high‑quality marking and assessment.
The Role
* Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach a small number of RE and English lessons per week
* No planning responsibilities
* Marking and assessment expected
* Work collaboratively with a supportive and experienced department
* Start from Monday 13th April

* QTS is essential
* Strong subject knowledge across Humanities
* Confident with behaviour management and classroom delivery
* A DBS on the update service is highly desirable
* Ability to hit the ground running and maintain high standards
