Location of school: Stamford

Pay: £130 – £190 per day

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract: Maternity Cover, ASAP until July 2025, Term time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Monarch Education are working alongside a Social, Emotional and Mental Health Residential school who are in need of someone to teach and instruct Animal Care for students aged 5-19.

The candidate needs to…

• Hold an Instructors qualification in Animal Care
• Have experience working with children and young adults aged 5-18
• Be comfortable working with students with ASD, ADHD and SEMH
• Be able to teach KS2 to KS5
• Teach Animal Care up to AQA Level
• Run the British Horse Society Stage 1 care
• Manage a small team that work on the yard
• Plan rotas
• Manage care of animals
• Be on call in case of an emergency with one of the animals
• Ordering of feed, bedding, hay and arranging deliveries
