Monarch Education are currently working closely with a Primary School in Smethwick that are needing a Teacher to support a group of 8 Y6 children with their SATS. The Intervention Teacher will be required to do a small amount of planning, devising some sessions on an intervention/activity basis, with focus mostly on English.

This is a lovely, unique school that have a small turnover of staff and lots of departmental support.

About the school:

  • The Intervention Teacher will hold / be confident in the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status qualification or instructor level
  • Relevant classroom experience within last 2 years
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update service (or willing to get one through Monarch)
  • Experience in a Primary School setting
  • Adapt to a range of learning styles based on the needs and preferences of the School and children
  • Caring and able to build a good rapport with staff and children alike
  • Flexibility to teach different age groups

Your application will be subject to an enhanced child only DBS and two educational references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working in an Education Setting.
