Monarch Education is recruiting a Full-Time Computer Science / IT Teacher for a secondary school in Birmingham

We are partnering with a secondary school in Birmingham to appoint a qualified Computer Science / IT Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Computer Science and/or IT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for Computer Science and/or IT
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Computer Science / IT curriculum

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Computer Science and/or IT within a UK secondary school setting
  • Knowledge of the UK secondary school curriculum for Computer Science and IT
