Key Stage 2 Teacher

Monarch Education are currently supporting a ‘GOOD’ School in Smethwick that are in need of an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher. The Key Stage 2 Teacher is needed to be responsible for a full class of year 5 children and support them with their access to learning, therefore this is a full teaching role. The school are a very inclusive and supportive school and are known for their staff loyalty and low turn over of staff. This role has arisen due to a long-term Teacher, leaving the profession.

Requirements of applicant:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Good knowledge of the UK Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Recent experience supporting Key Stage 2 children
  • Ability to plan, deliver lessons and mark

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Full time teacher of a full class of Key Stage 2 children
  • Providing regular feedback to parents on the progression of each child
  • Encourage each child to access their learning
  • Understand how to motivate and inspire children to learn
  • Ensure children’s needs are met at all times

Salary: £140-170 per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
