Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, are working in close partnership with a high‑performing independent preparatory school to appoint a committed and skilled Key Stage 2 Class Teacher.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching, supporting pastoral development and contributing positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS with recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Be an effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising attainment
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and age‑related expectations
- Plan and deliver engaging, well‑sequenced lessons that maintain pace, challenge and motivation
- Use Assessment for Learning and differentiation to adapt teaching and support pupil progress
- Set and maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and able to thrive
- Confidently use ICT and digital technologies to enhance learning and classroom practice
- Support pupils with additional learning or pastoral needs, working collaboratively with colleagues
- Maintain strong pastoral oversight, promoting pupil wellbeing and development
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, contributing to the wider life of the school
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Be reflective, adaptable and committed to continuous professional development
- Show leadership potential or experience, with the capacity to lead English or Mathematics for the right candidate
- Be fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
- Bring energy, professionalism and a positive attitude to the school community
