Primary/Medical SEND Teaching Assistant
Location of school: Kettering
Contract length: January 2025 – July 2025 and Day to Day support (part time and sickness cover/ bank staff)
Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm, Full time, 6.5 hour working day
A primary SEND school in the Kettering area are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support students in reception to year 6 in their inclusive setting. They are also in need of bank staff to support them with absences and sickness cover.
We need someone who is comfortable supporting children in a swimming pool, working 1:1 with a student, offering intimate and personal care support or administering medication.
You must have experience with SEND children or young adults to be successful in this role.
You must have a DBS that’s already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
The school will ask all staff to take a swimming kit in with them every day and be flexible to changes in the timetable. You must wear a t shirt over your swimming kit.
