Monarch Education are looking for a driven, qualified teacher to work in KS2 at a two-form entry primary school in the south of Bristol. The “Vibrant” school pride themselves on giving the children “the best start possible “with a massive emphasis on “hard work” and kindness. The school are part of a Multi-Academy Trust and aim to give their staff continuous training to up-skill themselves to be the best possible teacher. This will also allow you to work in different schools and setting in the future.

The role will start on September the 3^rd and will be a paid to scale role as you will take on the full responsibility of a class teacher. The school are happy to accept ECT’s if you are the right fit for the school.

The school are looking for someone who can create a stimulating and engaging learning environment who can Tailor their teaching style and lesson plan to the needs of the pupils.

The ideal candidate will:

• QTS or QTLS
• Have the ability and knowledge to teach primary school pupils
• Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
• Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children from all needs and backgrounds
• Have excellent behaviour management skills
• Understand the expectations against the Teachers Standards

Main Responsibilities:

• Teaching a variety of subjects to primary pupils
• Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning
• Supporting SEND children with their work in a class setting
• Managing difficult behaviours and implementing the school behaviour policy
• Safeguarding vulnerable pupils
• Possible supervising on lunch and break times
• Supporting and managing teaching assistants within the classroom
• Building relationships with staff and pupils
• Collecting evidence of pupils work to support their assessments
• Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the pupils progress
• To have pastoral responsibility for a group of pupils
• Potentially lead in a subject area
• Ensure a team approach to education with stakeholders such as parents and carers
