KS2 Teaching Assistant
Area: B23, Birmingham
Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30 – 3:30
Salary: £100 – £110 per day
Start date: ASAP
Monarch education, part of affinity workforce, are working closely with a friendly school to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work alongside who pupils, one year 5 with ADHD, DLD and behavioural needs and a year 6 pupil who has a low level of cognition. This will be within the classroom but might need to be separated when needed.
Their motto is ‘Aspire, Believe, Succeed.’ To achieve this ‘can do’ attitude, they aim for each child to achieve more than they ever thought was possible by setting high expectations for all of their children and providing them with the challenge, opportunities and support for them to flourish.
This is a full-time, long-term role, Monday to Friday to start ASAP until the end of the academic year with potential to extend to next.
They are looking for someone who as a positive outlook on life, confident with leading small groups and is who is child centred and always willing to go the extra mile for any children in their care and to able to work well within a team.
Qualifications and Experience:
The school has a supportive team of staff creating a caring atmosphere around the school, with up to date educational technology and nearby public transport routes and onsite parking available on school site.
