Are you passionate and motivated to make a difference to the lives of children who have experienced childhood trauma and have Social Emotional Mental Health needs?

Monarch Education are honoured to work alongside a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities setting in the Cannock area. This role will be full time (Mon – Fri) from 8:30 a.m – 3:30 p.m, term time only, working with children who have SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs). We welcome applicants from an array of backgrounds working with children and adults in care, school support, sports and coaching backgrounds or similar professions and training.

The job…

• Assisting and managing the return of students back to the classroom
• Implementing agreed strategies to manage and improve the behaviour of students in the school
• Monitor and analyse the behaviour of students using the online behaviour management system * Providing an on-call response to support teaching staff, when appropriate
• Liaising with teaching staff to support teaching and learning
• Supporting students in following the rules of the school, helping to enforce school behaviour expectations
