Learning Support Assistant

Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of a ‘GOOD’ client school in the Denton area of Tameside (M34) for a Learning Support Assistant. This school are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can provide high quality support for KS2 pupils.

This is a popular school within Tameside who promote an ethos of positivity and inclusivity for all. They have a strong network of current experienced staff and a friendly and welcoming SLT. They are seeking someone who:

  • Has a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Can deliver high quality, tailored support for children with special educational needs (SEN/SEMH)
  • Is committed to raising the attainment of all children
  • Can be a positive and encouraging role model for children throughout all aspects of their academic career
  • Is able to assist in the planning and delivering of interventions
  • Can work well independently, as well as part of a team
  • Has excellent communications skills and the ability to form strong working relationships with children, staff and the wider school community
