Monarch Education is recruiting committed and compassionate Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to support a cluster of our partnered secondary schools in Bartley Green, Birmingham and surrounding area’s. The ideal candidate will be available full time and for an immediate start.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Offering tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
- Assisting with learning activities, behaviour support, and emotional regulation
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff
- Creating an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning experience for every child
- Adapting resources and strategies to meet individual needs
We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD)
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant in secondary school setting
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work across different school settings
- Must have a minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
