Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are currently working alongside a Primary School in the Olton area of Solihull to find a full time Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to start in September 2024. This role will involve working in the Nursery setting within the school on an ongoing basis for the full academic year (ending July 2025). It is essential that you hold at least a Level 3 in Early Years or Childcare for this role so you can count towards the ratio in the nursery.

Requirements of applicant:

  • UK Level 3 Minimum Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
  • Experienced working with children aged 0-5 years old
  • Confident providing personal care to children where necessary

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working in the Nursery setting of a primary school helping children aged 0-3 years old
  • Provide regular feedback to parents and senior staff on the progress of the pupil
  • Follow policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines
  • Ensure equal access to learning activities for pupils
  • Help children to meet their Early Stages of Development targets

Salary: £9.06 – £14.88 per hour (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
