Level 3 Nursery Nurse

Monarch Education are currently looking for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to work part time in a Nursery in the Erdington area. The hours for this role are Monday to Wednesday 9am – 3pm. This role is ongoing until February 2025 at least. It is essential that you hold at least a Level 3 in Early Years or Childcare for this role so that you can count towards the ratio in the nursery.

Requirements of applicant:

  • You Must have at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
  • Experienced supporting children of EYFS age (0-5 years old)
  • Confident in the use of Phonics – Little Wandle and Letters & Sounds

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help management to plan and deliver learning activities to stimulate the individual needs of each pupil
  • You must be flexible to work in any room in the nursery – including the baby room
  • Providing regular feedback to parents on the progression of each child
  • Encourage the social development of all children during lesson and break times
  • Ensure all children always feel safe and their welfare is always looked after
  • Provide personal care to pupils where necessary and ensure their personal hygiene is of a high standard at all times

Salary: £9.06 – £14.88 per hour (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
