Monarch Education is currently seeking a qualified and proactive a very experienced or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Birmingham.

This rewarding role involves supporting small groups of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the mornings and year 3 General Teaching Asssitant in the afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have strong knowlege and expereince within KS2 or year 3 to be exact
• Support small groups and individual SEND pupils with tailored learning activities that meet their specific needs.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to design and deliver inclusive, differentiated lessons.
• Track pupil progress and provide insightful feedback to inform future planning and interventions.
• Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages confidence, independence, and active participation.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Proven experience working with SEND children in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum across EYFS to KS2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and support diverse learning needs.
