Level 4 SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Arnold, Nottinghamshire

Pay: £13 – £18 per hour

Monarch Education are supporting the Nottingham County Council to source a Level 4 SEND Teaching Assistant, that will be supporting a SEN CYP (Child and Young person) who requires a trained and experienced professional in specific areas relating to their health and SEN needs to aid them throughout their education journey.

The CYP has a finalised EHC plan, so candidates will need experience of EHCP’s. You will also need experience within sensory feeding difficulties, so please only apply if you have knowledge in this area.

You will be supporting a child in a specialist setting, this will be a full-time position for a child based in Arnold, Nottinghamshire.

The requirements stated in the child’s EHC plan are as follows:

  • CYP to be supported by a full-time one-to-one Grade 4 Teaching Assistant.
  • Candidates must be experienced in working with children with complex needs, sensory feeding difficulties and be able to support the provision of therapeutic inputs.
  • Please note that it is imperative that the teaching assistant must have the complex needs and sensory feeding difficulties experience.
