Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Are you friendly, energetic, and passionate about supporting children? Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Assistant to join a school in Birmingham.

About the Role:
As a Lunchtime Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and well-supervised lunch break. Your responsibilities will include supervising children in the dining hall and playground, assisting with meal service, and promoting positive behaviour during the lunch period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising children during their lunchtime in the dining hall and outdoor areas
• Assisting children with their meals as needed
• Promoting positive behaviour and social interaction among pupils
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children during lunch
• Supporting children with special educational or behavioural needs if required
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment during the lunch period
• Reporting any concerns or incidents to the appropriate staff

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential
• Friendly, approachable, and confident in managing children
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed
• Reliable, punctual, and caring
• Right to work in the UK
