Lunchtime Supervisor AND cleaning roles

Start date: ASAP hours: 11:45am – 13:45pm for lunchtime assistant role

Start date: ASAP hours: 3:45pm – 5:45pm for cleaning roles

Location: Bristol

Monarch Education have multiple roles available for individuals looking to work in a school supporting lunch and break periods. You will supervise pupils over the school lunchtime period both inside the lunch hall and outside on the playground as required. The outside duties will be in most if not all weathers and therefore appropriate dress will be required, including sensible footwear. You will need to have a calm, and authoritative approach to manage pupils during their break and report any safeguarding or behaviour concerns to a senior member of staff.

The successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited too):

  • Supervising pupils on the school premises
  • Supervising pupils during lunch time
  • Reporting any relevant matters or dangers to the Behaviour Manager and Leadership Team
  • Ensuring a safe environment during lunch time
  • Undertaking ancillary duties as necessary (i.e. setting up and clearing away tables, cleaning tables and dining area)
  • Ensuring pupils keep up good hygiene such as washing their hands before and after lunch
  • Helping younger pupils with the proper use of cutlery and cutting up food
