Mathematics Teacher Required – South Birmingham – January 2026 Start

Job Type: Temporary, Full Time, Part Time Considered

Salary: £165-£262 per day (dependent on experience)

Location: South Birmingham

Monarch Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary Girls school in South Birmingham from January 2026.

The school is dedicated to academic excellence and personal development, providing a supportive environment where both students and staff are encouraged to reach their full potential. The role will involve planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 experience desirable but not essential. Although the role is full time, the school are open to considering part-time applications.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • A confident and engaging teaching style
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, impactful lessons
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two employment references covering the last two years
