Intervention Teaching Assistant, Bath

A large primary school in Bath are actively looking for a new specialist teaching assistant to join their school on a full time basis. The role will start immediately and will be ongoing for the remaining academic year.

This role will involve providing intervention to pupils in KS1. You will lead lessons in Maths and English and follow pre-planned work.

This role does not require a CACHE qualified teaching assistant but experience of supporting children within core subjects is essential.

Job responsibilities:

• Assisting the class teacher with Maths and English support
• Creating a positive environment where all pupils can excel and learn creatively
• Observing and assessing individual pupil development

Requirements

• The ability to communicate effectively with young children
