A large Secondary school in the Hyde area of Tameside, Greater Manchester are looking to recruit a Teacher of Maths to join their Mathematics faculty from ASAP to Easter but likely to be the end of the academic year.
This is a thriving school, which prides itself on it’s strong leadership team in place to help drive the school, pupils and each member of staff forwards.
The school is easily accessed from the M60 motorway, and strong public transport links from Tameside and Manchester, and is within walking distance from a train station. Behaviour at the school is positive, with a real unified ethos felt amongst pupils and staff.
You would be joining a well established team who would welcome new team members and help you become apart of the wider teaching unit. The school has excellent resources, support staff designated to the faculty to help support pupils so they are ready and eager to learn!
The role is to start ASAP for the remainder of the academic year with potential for permanent employment if this suits both you and the school. They are keen to retain good quality teaching staff.
The school will also consider applications from ECTs, so both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. The school covers up to GCSE so experience teaching at KS3 and GCSE level across Maths curriculum is essential. Candidates must have QTS (or QTLS) – please do not apply if you are not a qualified teacher.
