About the Role
As a Maths Teacher, you’ll be responsible for the planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4. You’ll help students build key numeracy skills, develop problem-solving abilities, and grow their confidence in the subject. The school supports innovative teaching approaches and encourages teachers to deliver lessons that are engaging, accessible, and challenging.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (up to GCSE level)
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Support students in developing core mathematical skills and resilience
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, progress, and classroom engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting students’ academic and personal growth
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and high-quality teaching
