About the Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4. You’ll support students in developing numeracy skills, problem‑solving abilities, and confidence in the subject. The school encourages innovative teaching practices and is committed to providing lessons that are engaging, accessible, and academically challenging.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Support students in developing strong mathematical understanding and resilience
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, progress, and classroom engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for supporting students’ academic and personal development
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and high-quality teaching
