About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Maths Teacher to join our successful client secondary school in Burnham‑on‑Sea. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Whether you are an experienced classroom practitioner or an early‑career teacher, you will bring creativity, high expectations, and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative and forward‑thinking Maths Department.

What We’re Looking For

• A PGCE in Secondary Education (Mathematics or closely related subject).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
• A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Dedication to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, challenging Maths lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Plan, assess, and track student progress in line with school policies.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.
• Support students through interventions, enrichment, and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.
