Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well‑structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver a curriculum that supports excellent progress for students of varying abilities.
• Use assessment data to monitor achievement and implement targeted interventions.
• Contribute to collaborative planning, curriculum development, and moderation within the department.
• Build a positive, supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and high achievement.
• Engage in wider school life and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge, particularly in GCSE Mathematics.
• Effective behaviour management and confident classroom presence.
• Passionate about improving student engagement and outcomes in Maths.
• A reflective practitioner with a commitment to continuous professional growth.
• Secondary school experience preferred, though strong ECTs are encouraged to apply.
