Monarch Education is working with a secondary school in Oldbury to recruit a Maths Teacher for a long‑term role. The school requires a teacher who can deliver Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and meet curriculum and assessment requirements.
About the Role
The teacher will deliver Maths lessons, plan and prepare learning materials, assess pupil work and contribute to departmental responsibilities. The role requires consistent delivery of lessons and participation in school processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Teach across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess pupil work
- Track pupil progress
- Maintain classroom expectations and routines
- Contribute to department planning and meetings
- Attend CPD sessions and school activities
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Subject knowledge in Maths
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
- Classroom management skills
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Ability to carry out planning, teaching and assessment requirements
