Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the daily running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained at all times.
• Supporting the nursery staff in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Providing personal care to children as needed, including feeding, changing diapers, and assisting with hygiene routines.
• Creating a safe and inclusive environment where children can learn and develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
• Following all safeguarding and health & safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of children at all times.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with children and a nurturing disposition.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred but not essential.
• A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the overall success of the nursery.
