Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming nursery setting in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years development to start work ASAP in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Location

Banbury

Working Hours

• 8:00am – 5:00pm or
• 8:30am – 5:30pm

Pay Rate

• £17.00 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Role Responsibilities

As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

• Support the day-to-day care and supervision of children in the nursery
• Assist in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
• Work closely with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children (nursery, childcare or early years setting desirable)
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant childcare qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
