Nursery Nurse

Monarch Education are looking for motivated and welcoming Nursery Nurses to support a variety of local EYFS providers in and around the Cheltenham area.

You will NEED to hold a Level 3 EYFS/Childcare Qualification to be able to meet ratio and have previous experience supporting children throughout EYFS that we can reference within the last 2 years.

They are looking for a motivated, caring individual with excellent communication skills with good knowledge of the up-to-date EYFS national curriculum. You will need to be able to plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities to promote learning and development while creating a safe and simulating environment for all children.

Required experience and qualifications:

• Level 3 EYFS/Childcare Qualifications are preferred but not essential.
• Will have previous experience within an EYFS environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Be able to motivate and support children from all backgrounds, as well as support their individual needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high quality care and support for children of EYFS age.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities to promote learning and development.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Follow policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines.
