Nursery Nurse

Are you looking for a full-time role within Early Years from January 2025? Monarch Education are currently working alongside a Day Nursery in Solihull to find a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to start in the New Year. The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm. You will need to hold a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare to be considered for this role.

Requirements of applicant:

• You Must have at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
• Experienced supporting children in a Nursery Setting
• Confident in the use of Phonics – Little Wandle and Letters & Sounds
• Calm and caring nature when adapting support methods to the needs of each child

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Tailor support methods to the individual needs of each child in your care
• Regularly update children’s diaries and feedback to parents on progress
• Provide personal care to children to ensure a high standard of personal hygiene
• Encourage the social development of all children during lesson and break times
• Plan learning activities to encourage the intellectual and social development of each child
• Ensure all children always feel safe and their welfare is always looked after
